My research interests:
- New scientific perspectives in the methodology of archaeological research: application of image processing and computer graphics 3D to prehistoric archaeology.
- Interrelations between Sicily, Aegean and the Maltese Archipelago from Middle Bronze Age to Early Iron Age: pottery production, commercial phenomena and funerary rituals.
- Technological and Typological study of the Sicilian and Maltese pottery productions in Middle and Late Bronze Age (Thapsos, North Pantalica, Borg in-Nadur and Bahrija potteries).
